Purpose
Flexible conveyors are widely used for transhipment and sorting of goods. By being positioned between the loading area and the vehicle, they facilitate the placement of cargo in vehicles. The flexibility of the scissor system allows you to install the conveyor in various configurations and adjust its length. Description
Flexible conveyors and complex stationary systems come in two main types:
- Non-driven (gravity). The movement of goods on rollers is caused by their own weight, due to the difference in height of opposite parts of the roller conveyor.
- Driven, which are equipped with an electric motor. The indisputable advantage of such systems is the ability to adjust movement speed.
Gravity elastic conveyors have a higher folding capacity, with a folded length of 2 218 mm and an unfolded length of 8 735 mm. We achieve this by using flat rollers rather than solid tubular rollers, which fit together when folded.
The flexibility of the conveyor makes it easy to install it in conditions of limited space, avoiding obstacles and turns. Compact size when folded and wheels ensure maximum ease of handling and space saving when storing the conveyor outside of working hours. The relatively low price of the gravity conveyor makes it worth installing, even for small enterprises with limited turnover.
The driven elastic conveyor can increase productivity even further, and when connected to a system of several sections, it can cover a large area of the warehouse.
