Are you delivering or do I need to pick up an order from the warehouse?

Sklad Service delivers equipment to all corners of Ukraine. In addition, vehicles are used that are optimal for fast and inexpensive transportation of the order depending on the type of product, volume and delivery address.

The cost of delivery is prescribed in a separate line in the commercial offer, which allows you to choose how best to deliver the goods: with the help of Sklad Service or on your own.

What is the form of payment for the goods: cashless or cash?

You can pay for your order in cash or non-cash:

  • bank payment (through any bank on the invoice);
  • cash to the courier (payment is made in cash to the courier, after receiving the order);
  • готівкою на нашому складі (оплата здійснюється готівкою безпосередньо при отриманні товару на складі).
Do you provide equipment warranties?

Warranty period for each type of equipment.
Shelving and automated racks - 24 months.

Shelving racks - 24 months.
Lifting tables - 24 months.
Plastic tare - 12 months.

For large projects, the warranty period may be extended by individual agreement.

Does Sklad-Service install racks (conveyors, lifting tables, etc.)?

Assembly teams "Sklad Service" are equipped with all the necessary tools for projects of different levels of complexity, including overalls, equipment for high-altitude work, modern assembly and assembly equipment. When completing installation crews, we prefer time-tested brands of fast, high-performance, accurate and reliable tools.

In cases where you need to provide any non-standard solutions to perform the installation, our company rents or buys the necessary equipment. These can be additional lighting fixtures, scaffolding, high-rise lifting equipment, stand-alone power generators, and other specialized tools.

The works are carried out taking into account all norms and rules in force on the territory of Ukraine. Installers have the necessary permits to carry out this type of work (copies of documents are available on request).

Where can I see your products personally?

Most of the products offered can be found in our office at: Kyiv, st. Yevhen Sverstyuk 13, floor 2. Here you can see full-fledged samples of racks (with different profiles of racks, beams and different options), different versions of metal cabinets and the full range of plastic containers (boxes, trays, pallets, containers).

If you are in another city or want to see the equipment "at work" - not a problem. The geography and variety of orders sold is huge. If necessary, we will conduct an excursion for you to the facility that is located closest to you and where the products you are interested in are located.

Are your products certified?

Yes. Despite the fact that racks, solid waste bins and other equipment offered by Sklad Service are not subject to mandatory certification according to the current legislation of Ukraine, most of our manufacturing partners certify their products to confirm high quality and compliance with all modern requirements. . We are happy to provide quality certificates according to the ISO system, UkrSEPRO and sanitary-epidemiological conclusions if necessary.

I need a cheaper option. What can you offer?

We work in a market full of diverse offers, where the price is almost always inversely proportional to product quality. The policy of the company Sklad Service is focused on the supply of quality goods and, as a consequence, their convenient, long and safe operation. We are ready to offer products in different price categories, but remember - the joy of saving money lasts much less than the disappointment of a failed purchase :)

What are the terms of payment for the goods?

In case of small retail orders, prepayment - 100%.

For larger orders, payment terms are agreed individually in each case. They depend on the type of product and the volume of the order. As a rule, part of the payment is realized at the time of commissioning, part before shipment, the last part after delivery or after installation (if any).

What do I need to start working on a shelving project (request)?

For simple orders, where the essence of the question can be formed in a telephone conversation with the manager or described in a letter, customers do not need anything but your wishes for the order. For large and complex projects, we want to get as much information from you as possible to find the optimal solution:

  • plan-scheme of the warehouse with the exact dimensions of the grid of columns, binding to them windows, doors, gates, as well as existing communications (fire hydrants,
  • ventilation pipes, crane-beams, etc.);
  • photos of the warehouse outside and inside; it is especially important to photograph the existing communications, building features, floor surface, trusses, openings, columns, etc .;
  • product characteristics (artificial, box, pallet, their weight and dimensions);
  • characteristics of loading equipment (width of the working corridor, lifting height, load capacity, construction height and width);
  • requirements for the availability of special technological zones (acceptance, commissioning, expedition, shipment, etc.), their area and location, if any;
  • special wishes to the warehouse system.

If you do not have the opportunity to get all the necessary data for the calculation, the specialist of our company will come to the warehouse for free and at a time convenient for you and take the necessary measurements.

Are the shelves available in stock or do they need to be made to order?

Warehouse racks have a very wide range of sizes and options, in addition, we regularly receive requests for racks of non-standard sizes. Due to this, it is very difficult to have a stock of all types of racks. Universal racks are constantly available in the warehouse. All other types of racks must be made to order after receiving advance payment. Delivery times depend on the type, volume and configuration of the order.

Minimum delivery times for some types of racks:

  • Shelving racks - from 1 week.
  • Pallet, entrance racks - from 3 to 5 weeks.
  • Multi-storey structures (mezzanines) - from 4 weeks.
  • It takes from 8 weeks to supply more complex dynamic racks.
Production of racks of the non-standard sizes under the order is possible? Will it be more expensive?

Production of racks of non-standard sizes is possible, but not desirable, because it requires reconfiguration of equipment, which increases the production time. When calculating the price of a rack of non-standard sizes, the main role will be played by the volume of the order. If the batch of non-standard products is large, the cost and time of manufacture in relation to the standard product will increase.

We will add that today our line of standard racks is big enough to pick up from standard standard sizes the optimum decision practically for any order.

Do I need to attach the racks to the floor / walls and how is this done?

There is no such need for shelf racks with small height and loads: on flat floors, the racks are stable and reliable. Industrial racks (pallet, entrance, cantilever and mezzanine) must be attached to the floor. This condition is mandatory, as provided by GOST and recorded in the Passport for products.

The five frames of the rack have special holes through which the frame is attached to the floor with an anchor (L = 80-120 mm) with a spacer. There is no need to fasten racks to the walls.

Are there any special requirements for the installation of racks?

The floor required for the supply of the racking system (pallet, entrance, cantilever racks and mezzanines) is a quality "industrial floor" of any type. In accordance with the requirements of GOST 16140-77 (Par.8) racks must be installed on a flat site with a hard surface with a slope taking into account the non-planarity of 0.002. Shelves are installed in accordance with the installation instructions and operating instructions. As an example - a concrete floor from a coupler not less than 200 mm thick which difference on height should make no more than 3%.

Additional work is not required before the installation of racks, except that the room must be empty, it must provide lighting sufficient for installation and assembly work and organized electricity supply.

Lightweight shelving with a load per section of up to 1000 kg and metal furniture during assembly and installation do not require industrial flooring, and floor equality within 3% deviation in height for quality assembly and long-term operation is also necessary.

If the floor does not meet the above requirements, it is necessary to use special leveling and support plates, or use other technically possible methods.

How to choose the right type of rack?

In order to optimally choose the overall dimensions of the rack, the number of shelves and load-bearing capacity, it is necessary to start from the characteristics of the cargo (goods) that you plan to store on these racks and features of its processing (manual, mechanized). In addition, the geometry, size and height of the room are of great importance when choosing the type of shelving system.

How much are your shelves?

This question cannot be answered without defining some important parameters for calculating the cost of racks. Similarly, it is not possible to immediately, without further clarification, answer the question, how much are your cars or TVs?

To obtain objective information about the cost you need to determine the height of the shelves, size, number of shelves, load on the shelf (or square meter), the material of the shelf and the frame of the rack, type and type of coating stored goods.

After agreeing on the exact application for the calculation, made independently or with the help of our manager, you can expect to receive a price offer as soon as possible. For standard sizes, the calculation time is from 20 minutes to 2 hours from the date of receipt of the application, and for non-standard requests - from 1 day to 7-10 days (with complex parameters of the racking system).

What is the term of production of racks?

This information must be clarified with the manager for a specific order, as the production period depends on the type of equipment and the volume of products you need. Standard delivery times are minimal - from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the availability of the required products, type of equipment, volume and complexity of the order.

How does a shelving supplier choose the type of rack?

Basic data for calculating the type of rack:

  • load on the storage level;
  • total load on the section;
  • height of the first bearing level;
  • number of sections in a row.

Each manufacturer has its own design (profile) of the rack, so the load-bearing capacity is different. It happens that for a certain load, we offer, for example, a profile width of 70 mm, and other suppliers 90 mm. This means that this manufacturer either simply does not have a profile with a smaller cross section or its profile with a smaller cross section does not withstand the required loads. Some people think that our racks with the 70th rack are weaker in this case. It is not absolutely true. Racks of competitors have superfluous metal capacity, ours completely correspond to the set loading, with a necessary stock (according to the European norms).

Permissible deflection of beams (traverse)?

Regulated by GOST in Ukraine and FEM standards in Europe. Permissible deflection of the beam - 1/200 of the length of the beam at rated load.

For example, for a traverse of 2700 mm with a load of 3,000 kg, the maximum allowable deflection will be 13.5 mm. This is the so-called elastic deformation, which disappears after removal from the rack. If this deflection is confusing, you need to take a beam with a larger cross section, but this will increase the cost of construction.

How to choose a frame for a freezer?

In our practice, we put in freezers and galvanized and painted frames. The choice of type of coating depends largely on the preferences (requirements) of the buyer, although some features in relation to the freezer are still there.

Powder enamel: has a good appearance and in the process of careful operation visually facilitates the loader operator to see the rack cell. Lack of painted frames - if the loader damages the frames, then very quickly rust begins to appear in places of impact.

Galvanizing: at blows and scratches due to penetration of a galvanized layer does not rust so quickly or does not rust at all. Galvanized frames are a little cheaper. The downside is that the galvanizing will darken in about 2-3 years and will look presentable. The bearing capacity of the frames is not affected by this fact, but only by the appearance. This applies to metal of any production, both Ukrainian and Russian or European.

What is the difference between lightweight and universal pallets?

Lightweight pallets have a completely different design, they are stacked and used at relatively low loads. The support for lightweight pallets is not a slide, but 9 legs, so they are designed only for floor storage and transportation. It will not be possible to put such pallets on a rack. Lightweight pallets are also used for export, as they do not require additional cleaning and certification during customs control. Universal plastic pallets have a similar design to classic wooden pallets.

What is the difference between KLT blue and light blue boxes?

The main difference between these boxes is the presence or absence of additional stiffeners and technological holes. Blue plastic containers of the R-KLT system have additional stiffeners, which makes them more resistant to mechanical damage. In addition, R-KLT containers are solid. Light blue plastic containers of the RL-KLT system have a smooth bottom with technological openings that gives the chance to store in them production subject to clogging and rotting.

How is it more convenient to place trays in the warehouse?

For storage trays of the Logic Store series, our company can offer several options for shelving systems:

1. For small boxes there are specialized racks in which boxes are easily hung up by a back part for rack laths. Such racks can be equipped with wheels, which will make them mobile and even more practical.

2. For other large boxes, you can use stationary shelf racks. The flexible system of the sizes will allow to enter optimally a rack in dimensions of the room and thus to use effectively height for a certain type of a box.

What are the benefits of PolyBox containers?

The main difference between the containers of the PolyBox system is the possibility of folding during return transportation or storage. This saves a lot of space and optimizes logistics.

What are the delivery times of plastic containers?

Most models for all types of plastic containers (boxes, trays, pallets) are available in our warehouse in Kiev. For large orders, delivery times range from 2 to 4 weeks.

How much are lifting tables?

Unfortunately, we do not provide a price for lifting tables, as the list of standard models is quite large and has more than 100 units. In addition, our partner, the Swedish manufacturer "Marco", can make any table according to individual customer requirements.

The cost of the lifting table is influenced by such parameters as platform size, lifting height, load capacity, availability of options, order volume. Therefore, to find out the exact cost of the order, we study in detail the problem to be solved by the lifting table, and then provide the price of either a standard model (if applicable), or consider the cost of a lifting table with individual parameters.

For reference, the cost of standard and most common lifting tables can range from 3,000 to 7,000 Euros.

Why scissor lifting tables by Sklad Service are better than other analogues?

Yes of course. One of the most important advantages of the Marco plant is the ability to develop almost any non-standard lifting table. But even these high numbers are not the main thing, the main thing is a business problem that needs to be solved with the help of a lifting table. The Swedish Design Bureau will help to develop the optimal solution for each specific case.

What is the warranty on lifting tables?

The warranty period for Marco lifting tables is 24 months.

How safe are lift tables in operation?

All Marco lifting tables are already equipped with an aluminum safety frame as standard. When the table is lowered and collides with an obstacle, the safety frame immediately stops the movement of the platform. In addition to this convenient feature to increase safety, you can install protective fences made of dense PVC, which will prevent personnel from accessing the scissor levers.

What you need to know to calculate the exact cost of a lifting table?

Are there lifting tables in stock, do you have to wait until they are made, how long to wait?
