Purpose
The multi-storey structure based on pallet racks is an uncompromising solution that provides a versatility of application, wide possibilities for modernization and high loads for heavy and oversized goods.
Robust upright frames and traverses of the pallet rack allow you to use shelves of large sizes, and if necessary, make wide working passes. A hybrid design is also possible: pallet storage on the ground storey and storage of boxes and unit loads on the second storey and above, or organising free space for an office or additional goods handling operations.

Description
The reinforced mezzanine is based on standard elements of pallet racks, which are retrofitted with floor covering elements, shelves, stairs, safety railings and loading gates. This type of multi-storey racking design is suitable for very heavy and bulky cargo. You can store goods on shelves both in factory packaging (containers) and in plastic trays.
Variety of pallet rack strut options (70, 85, 90, 100, 110, 120, 140 mm) and traverse (from 60 to 160 mm), allows you to achieve optimal metal consumption of the structure while ensuring high load requirements.
MDF (30-38 mm) or galvanised lattice panels are used to cover the floor. The first option is a little cheaper, more convenient when working with trolleys (the wheels go smoothly and do not make noise), but worse in terms of fire safety, may require additional treatment with special chemicals to increase fire resistance. Metal grids, in turn, transmit light better and do not cause questions from the fire department.
You can use even more coverings as shelves. We will divide them into wooden and metal.

The high load-bearing capacity (350 - 1 000 kg/m²) allows the use of a hydraulic trolley to move goods around the storey. You can place the goods on the upper storeys of the mezzanine using any warehouse equipment, via a loading gate, which serves as a safety railing when closed.
There is an advanced version of the loading gate, which completely prevents staff from inadvertently falling out. This tilt-and-turn model is always in the closed position, either on the loading side or on the mezzanine side.
The staff access ladder is integrated into the racking row, has a comfortable angle of inclination and safe steps. Safety railings along the stairs and along the perimeter of all storeys reliably protect staff from injury.
Interesting variations of the mezzanine are designs where the ground storey is used for shelf or pallet and shelf storage and the second storey is a solid area for office organisation or goods handling such as sorting, packaging, etc.
