Purpose
Since Double Deep racks assume double storage depth, warehouse equipment needs to reach far pallets in some way. There are two solutions: a pantograph mechanism, where the forks are extended by using scissor lever arms and with the help of a telescopic fork. The first option is used on a reach truck with a lifting height of up to 5500 mm. In this case, the operator is in a standing position. Fork extension using a telescopic mechanism is an option available for all modifications of classic reach trucks with lifting heights of up to 12 meters.

Description
Double Deep pallet racking doubles the storage capacity of a warehouse compared to conventional racking. The space is saved by reducing the number of aisles between racks. This is particularly effective when a high number of identical products are stored. This is essentially the only solution to combine compact storage and efficient movement of goods.
The AC electric motor provides economical and powerful operation throughout the day. No harmful exhaust emissions are produced; use inside a warehouse or production facility will be as comfortable and safe for health as possible. The stackers are highly manoeuvrable and controllable, especially when working in confined areas. The free movement of the carriage allows you to reach the most hard-to-reach pallets, unlike standard reach trucks.
However, there is an important consideration: working at great heights and especially with the second deepest pallet requires the installation of additional options such as video monitoring under forks to ensure that the pallet is gripped accurately or cargo is positioned in the correct rack.
