Purpose
The protective products in this category prevent damage to columns, intermediate slabs, load-bearing structures and other elements of warehouse buildings. Such deformations may occur during the operation of cargo transport or warehousing special-purpose machineries. Serious damage to a load-bearing column would result in excessive internal stresses in intermediate slabs, which would cause deformation of the entire building up to its complete decay. Safety elements will help to reduce the risk of this to a minimum.

Description
Sklad Service is an authorised representative of MPM, an Italian manufacturer of warehouse equipment and passive protection of industrial structures. The manufacturer's catalogue offers three categories of products for the protection of columns and other architectural elements. They differ in height and structure.
The simplest products include barriers of COPRO series. They have a single-tier design and a height of 140 mm (COPRO 90 model) or 200 mm (COPRO 150). The fence has a square shape with dimensions from 50 *50 to 70 * 70 cm.
The barriers of TUG TOWER series have a radically different design and are used as self-supporting fences. They have a sufficiently compact design because there are special recesses in the side risers into which the column can be immersed. The number of horizontal elements is between two and five, depending on the height of the product, which is between 73 and 181 cm. The TUG TOWER 3 SIDES model with a height of 115 cm, which protects corners of large-size columns, is also available.
TOWER PROTECTION series presents barriers with a square profile and a height of 115 cm. They protect columns with dimensions up to 70*70 cm. There are special ORANGE LINE models; their difference is the presence of orange colouring of some elements. This improves the element's visibility and prevents most of collisions.
All models are based on a special polymer material, REFLEX. It was developed and patented by specialists of MPM. The advantages of this material include increased resistance to impact loads and high strength at room temperature.
The fastenings used for the installation of protective structures are covered by special plugs. This prevents unnecessary inconvenience to staff, and reducing the number of minor collisions that can affect the integrity of the barrier itself.
