Design description
Folding Euro containers are available in a wide variety of dimensions and modifications: from 600x400x220 mm to 800x600x450 mm. The useful volume of a large Euro container is 169 litres.
The walls and bottom are reinforced. Thanks to the movable side walls, these containers can be stacked, which significantly reduces the cost of transporting containers. They can be stacked both folded and unfolded when full. This does not reduce their productivity.
Containers are made of polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Containers made of polypropylene are widely used in electronics, construction, automotive and instrumentation. They are distinguished by the lowest specific gravity of all thermoplastics, high heat and chemical resistance, and rigidity. Containers made of HDPE have high impact strength and high welding resistance. The material does not react with acids (both organic and inorganic), but decomposes under the influence of 50% nitric acid, liquid and gaseous chlorine and fluorine. Containers made from these materials make them indispensable in warehouse operations. They have a smooth surface, are wear-resistant, easy to clean, and hardly wear out, which makes them suitable for use on conveyor lines in sorting centres and in production.
The folding Euro containers are equipped with a lid that does not affect the stacking capability. The lid consists of two folding halves. This system eliminates the loss of the lid, at the same time does not make it difficult to fill or remove from the container.
Folding Euro containers are available in 17 different colours. It is possible to individualise containers by printing (logo, advertising, etc.). This makes it easier to perform picking, loading and unloading operations if the process is not automated.
