Purpose
This type of reach truck is designed specifically for fast load movement in spaces with narrow aisles (e.g. aisles between racks). Most of these reach trucks have a high load capacity of up to 2 500 kg. At the same time, it is possible to work with high structures: the forks can be lifted to 12 m. They are often used in warehouses with multi-tiered racks, as this equipment does not require a large working aisle and is highly manoeuvrable. You can also use them inside drive-in racks due to their narrow design.

Description
Reach trucks are specialized warehouse equipment combining compactness and efficiency. Due to the design with a narrowed cabin, the width can be from 800 mm. These reach trucks are ideally suited to high-density storage areas and drive-in racks. In these conditions, even the most compact stacker is sometimes unable to reach the end of the aisle to load the required goods.
Another advantage: Load-lifting heights can reach up to 12 m. you can install a fork camera and monitor for complete control of the working process. These allow the reach truck operator to control the load directly from the cabin.
The control system is simple and intuitive, requiring no additional retraining of the operator for a specific model. You can control and coordinate processes using a mini-lever or mono-joystick, or by using standard levers.
Most of these machines are fitted with lithium-ion batteries. This variant is optimal due to its high capacity of energy accumulators, resistance to temperature fluctuations and absence of toxic emissions in case of accidental damage. This last factor is particularly important in applications in the pharmaceutical or food industries. Furthermore, you can use Li-ion batteries inside freezing compartments and refrigerators.
As an option, the reach truck can be equipped with various types of masts; the most popular variants are the two-section and three-section ones. Free movement distinguishes such elements; they provide a sufficiently high lift and the desired tilt of the fork.
