Purpose
Safety railings are installed on lift tables that are used to bring inventory and people to the desired height. They prevent the load from falling from a height and damages, as well as injuries to staff at the facility. The presence of these barriers is a safety requirement and in many cases mandatory. To simplify access, one of the sections of the railing is replaced with a folding door.

Description
The presence of a protective barrier on the lift table is a standard safety requirement. It usually works in cases where the maximum lifting height exceeds 1-1.5 meters, since a person falling from this height can lead to injuries, up to fractures. Therefore, an effective way to prevent staff from going on sick leave with the need to pay for it is to install protective railings. You can use the fence to accommodate table operation controls.
The lower part of the barrier is made in the form of a skirting board with a height of 15 cm. This element is designed to prevent spherical and cylindrical parts, workpieces and products from rolling and falling. The main part of the fence has the form of a grid welded from square profile metal pipes. It directly performs the main protective functions, such as preventing people and material values from falling from a height of more than a meter.
To provide access to the platform for staff and mechanisms, one of the barrier segments is replaced with folding doors. They are equipped with an electric sensor that will not allow the lifting mechanism to move if the door is open.
The protective barrier is installed on the cargo platform using contact welding or mounting by means of fasteners. In the first case, the structure turns out to be non-demountable; in the second, it is possible to dismantle the barrier for transportation or repair.
