Description of the construction
Modular medical structures were tested in operational conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Institutions and organizations appreciated their advantages, including quick installation and dismantling, complete autonomy and equipment with electricity, ventilation and heating systems, the possibility of scaling structures. Due to the design features, the global market for modular medical facilities is expected to grow by 8.5% from 2021 to 2030.
The structural feature of the buildings is distinguished by the ease of carrying out operations with modular blocks. And although the frame of the structure is made of bent hot-rolled steel with a thickness of 4 mm with a treated surface, the structure is lightweight. The existing 900 kg and 1870 kg blocks can be deployed in 15 minutes without involving builders, with the help of two people and one loader. All this is due to the patented hinge mechanism, which allows you to make complex movements without the use of additional devices. It has a high efficiency and allows you to reproduce various trajectories of movement. CONTINEST modular medical facilities retain their initial geometry and reliability even with multiple relocations.
The walls are made of 60 mm thermal insulation sandwich panels with metal lining. The Sika roof, with a lifetime warranty against leakage, is made of 80 mm thermal insulation sandwich panels with metal lining.
And most importantly, modular medical facilities meet the highest requirements of the biosafety level of BSL4 and ICU intensive care units.
To adapt to the different needs of customers, there are a number of auxiliary options, such as: water supply, heat, lighting, ventilation. The facilities are equipped with a CE certified electrical system (220V 32A) with LED panels, built-in sockets, switches and distributors. To save light during the day, double windows made of aluminium are provided in the premises. Unlike plastic and wooden ones, they are resistant to rust, do not require special care and do not emit harmful substances under the influence of ultraviolet rays. The service life of windows is 80 years. Modular designs are suitable for use in various climatic conditions at any time of the year.
