Purpose
Gravity shelving racks are designed for efficient order picking and handling of incoming goods. The shelves of the gravity rack are made on roller profiles fixed at a slight angle. Due to FIFO (first in, first out) principle, a crate on the loading side moves independently to the picking side.

Description
Gravity racks are used in warehouses with high turnover. The installation of such structures allows you to divide the space into loading and unloading zones in such a way that the placement and removal of pallets is carried out without obstacles.
Racks of this type differ from standard models by design. Firstly, the loading surfaces have a 4° inclination. Secondly, they are equipped with special roller guides. This combination allows pallets to move from the place of initial placement to the exit point independently under their own weight.
This design enables independent FIFO operation of the loading and unloading zones. In order to prevent pallets from falling and cargo damage, special locking elements are provided. They do not allow pallets to roll out of the rack. This makes work safe subject to the safety standards and rules of pallet packaging.
The input and output end modules are also worth considering. They have special channels that make it possible to lift cargo with forklift and stackers.
A possibility to place several tiers of racks makes the best use of the useful warehouse capacity. It is also possible to combine an installation of a rack with an introduction of additional automated systems such as Pick-to-light in the logistics. This integration not only increases the speed of order processing and placing of incoming goods, but also minimises a probability of error.
