Purpose
It is an ideal solution for situations where goods need to be moved continuously indoors or between production sites, as well as at airports, railway stations and other transport infrastructure facilities. Description
EP Equipment tugger trains are designed to transport out-of-gauge cargo weighing up to 6 tonnes; according to this, they can compete with petrol and diesel forklifts. For increased functionality, it is possible to equip them with additional tow hitches, compatible with the trolleys and vans used on site.
Special attention should be paid to the ideal directional stability of the truck. Automatic steering of the rear axle wheels ensures this: the elements follow each other exactly in line with the planned trajectory, both on the straight and turns. As a result, the tug with cargo can move even in confined spaces without risk of damage to the truck, cargo and other objects and goods.
The machine's compact size significantly increases its range of applications. The model does not require a wide working aisle; it is highly manoeuvrable and has excellent cornering accuracy. Due to its simple design and intuitive operation, the truck increases operating efficiency without the need for additional training. The comparatively high driving speed additionally speeds up logistic works in a company or production/warehouse area.
At tow tractors integration into a production facility, their travel routes must be carefully analysed to find a solution that is ideally suited to the conditions in the particular site. Due to the many additional functions and options available, a tugger train can easily be adapted to any requirement.
