The self-propelled stacker is a worthy alternative to its pedestrian analogues: the price difference is small and more than compensates for the higher efficiency of staff. The platform also reduces the physical strain on the operator.

These units are much easier to operate and are highly productive as the operator platform provides good visibility and safety when moving around. At the same time, self-propelled stackers do not have many alternatives in terms of loading onto racks located above 2 meters. In particular, the units in our range have a maximum lift height of 5.5 metres.

This type of equipment is usually equipped with combined electronic safety systems. Potentially dangerous machine movements will be blocked in the event of abnormal or emergencies. This can protect the operator and other staff when driving on uneven surfaces or slopes, for example.

An innovative and simple design makes it possible to use the machine in self-propelled mode as well as when the operator is on foot. It is enough to simply lower or raise the platform. The self-propelled stacker is indispensable in warehouses and retail outlets with high turnover and multi-tiered racks. You can use them to move goods quickly and easily, without extra load on staff.

The power source can be a lead-acid, gel or lithium-ion battery. The latter option is considered the most modern and practical and is the best choice. This is due to the high capacity of these batteries, their suitability for use in sanitary restricted areas as well as the ease of battery replacement. With a substitute energy accumulator, a twenty-four-hour operation is possible, because the batteries are alternately used and recharged.

Another advantage of lithium-ion batteries is their stable operation in various weather and temperature conditions. For example, Li-Ion batteries are approved for use in freezing compartments due to their resistance to a wide temperature range. It also takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery (although you can choose not to wait and disconnect it before the time expires) and is powered from a convenience socket (220 V). Lead-acid and gel-type power supplies, on the other hand, require careful maintenance and monitoring of operating conditions. This makes them less practical in operation.
