Battery service (traction batteries)

Traction batteries ensure the operation of warehouse equipment: reach trucks, electric stackers, electric carts,  warehouse tractors. For the smooth operation of the traction battery and the performance of planned tasks, it is necessary to use it correctly:

• charge and monitor your electrolyte levels daily;
• clean the battery weekly, monitor for inaccuracies based on the standards, and equalize the battery charge;
• check the resistance on the equipment body and traction battery every year (it must be at least 50 ohms per 1 Volt).

If the customer's employees neglect these rules, this leads to a reduction in the battery life and loss of capacity.

Our specialists perform battery diagnostics, as well as perform the necessary service work in accordance with the requirements for handling chemicals. After all, work on cleaning the battery must be carried out in special clothing that will protect against chemicals and preferably in a mask or respirator. Thus, the customer receives:

• battery overview;
• cleaning of element surfaces, checking the condition of terminals and connections;
• check for liquids, electrolyte levels, density, temperature, and other parameters;
• replacement of cables if necessary;
• battery setup and instruction, etc.
