Purpose
Corner protections prevent serious damage to the bottom supports of racks and other warehouse structures. They are designed for low impact loads of up to 1280 Joules. Consequently, the use of these protective elements is advisable if cargos are transported using manual pallet jacks or low-powered electric trolleys. If heavy forklifts or stackers are prevalent in the warehouse, then you should install stronger safety barriers. You can order them in Sklad Service.

Description
The protection of posts of racks and other warehouse structures is necessary in order to avoid their deformation in collisions. Such damages may result not only in the need to rebuild the rack itself, but also in a fall of goods from higher levels. This, of course, causes serious financial costs. Equipping with at least minimal protection prevents financial loss.
Our catalogue has five variants of corner protections manufactured by MPM (Italy). RPS series elements are used for supports with a section side length of 60 to 80 mm, RPM series elements are used for those of 80 to 100 mm, and RPL and RPL XL — for section side length of 100 to 120 mm (a modification with increased impact resistance). There is also a universal RPF model, which is suitable for 60 to 130 mm post protection.
The cylindrical shape of protections not only withstands an impact load, but also diverts the force vector away from the support. This means that the impact is tangential and does not affect the integrity of the protected component.
All varieties are of yellow colour, which enhances their visibility and therefore prevents collisions even in poor light conditions. A special polymer, REFLEX, has been selected as the material. It has a special patented structure, which additionally increases the product's resistance to shock loads.
An installation of corner protections does not require the use of threaded fasteners. You can install them on the rack supports using a special RP Click system. This provides the possibility of easy replacement or dismantling during warehouse reconstruction.
