Purpose
Protection elements of SM/LM series protect the end faces of racks as well as load-bearing columns and other objects in a warehouse. You can also use them as separating barriers when dividing a warehouse or production facility into separate zones. The integrated shock absorbers effectively absorb shocks when machinery collides with the barrier.

Description
Protective elements of SM/LM series manufactured by MPM (Italy) are one of the most practical and effective means of preventing impacts on the lower parts of warehouse structures (in particular, racks). They are horizontally directed barriers with integrated shock absorbers, which damp down the impact when heavy equipment collides with the protection.
The impact dampening effect is not only achieved by the shock absorbers, but also by the strength of the structure itself. The support posts are fixed to the surface with anchor bolts, which ensure complete immobility and stability even during high impacts. The horizontal barriers are also mounted using threaded fasteners. The material used is alloy steel and special REFLEX plastic. This polymer is a patented development of MPM.
Protective barriers must be clearly visible even in low visibility and low light conditions. In order to ensure visibility, they are painted yellow. Besides, part of the surface of LM ORANGE model has a bright orange colour.
