Purpose
As some containers do not have full-length support rails, but only small legs at the edges, it is extremely difficult and unsafe to install them on classic racks. The tandem of selective and drive-in pallet racking solves this problem since wider guides serve as supports for the legs here. Besides, in this storage option, the long part of the container faces the work corridor, which facilitates access to the contents.
The availability of any item at any time makes these racks indispensable for the efficient handling of metal containers.

Description
Container racks are a symbiosis of drive-in and selective racks, which allow you to place cargo with the long side to the loading side, providing convenient access for the selection of goods directly on the rack.
This design is based on guides that easily "catch" the container legs and support them securely because most containers do not have longitudinal runners at the bottom.
Why did we mention selective racks? After all, structurally they are very different. It is simple, container racks inherit an important feature of pallet racking, i.e. you can access any container at any time. This is not available in drive-in pallet racking, where pallets are loaded in whole lots into the channel and to remove a pallet inside the channel, a large part of the rack must be unloaded.
In some cases, when there is a need to carry out the selection of goods directly on the rack, for example, with the help of narrow aisle trucks, you can use these racks for storing ordinary palletized goods.
Although this type of equipment is highly specialised and rarely used in Ukraine, it is very effective for its purpose and you should not ignore it.
