Description
The self-propelled robotic pallet wrapper is a machine consisting of the following units: a platform with a bar, a robot manipulator, a carriage with stretch film, a digital control panel, protective and additional components.
The robot manipulator is the main unit of the pallet wrapper, which consists of a side contact wheel, maneuvering wheels, an electric motor, batteries, a high-frequency charger, and protective covers. The contact wheel is height adjustable. The maneuvering wheels are made of durable rubber and are designed for use in industrial coated environments. The batteries can be fully charged in 8 hours, and their capacity is sufficient for processing up to 150 pallets with goods.
The carriage with stretch film moves along the bar using a transmission chain. The tension of the film is adjusted using a mechanical brake. This system can significantly reduce the consumption of stretch film by 30-70%.
The robot packer is equipped with a digital color touch screen and a microprocessor remote control with the blocking option. The touch screen allows for additional parameter settings, such as carriage lifting and lowering speed, optic sensor delay reading, cycle counter, and more.
The robotic pallet wrapper is equipped with a protective bumper that stops the machine if it encounters an obstacle in its path. The rubber bumper does not cause damage on impact. The model has an acoustic and visual alarm system to alert operators of any problems. A built-in photocell in the bar determines the height of the cargo. A steering lever equipped with a locking system is used for maneuvering.
