Purpose
Cooling pads are used to store temperature-controlled products in boxes on pallets in stacks. They are used in production, warehouses, shopping centres and points of sale. Cooling pads allow you to cool and/or freeze products in boxes/cases stacked on a pallet without damaging the integrity of the packaging material.

Design description
Cooling and freezing pads are placed between layers of stacked products. Since 1980, they have been an alternative to metal racks and spacers for freezers. This is a revolutionary, environmentally friendly and practical way to reduce the time required to cool products by 30%.
The freezing pad is made of polypropylene (PP) and low pressure polyethylene (HDPE), a lightweight, flexible and practical material. With dimensions of 1000x1200 mm, the gasket weighs only 2.69 kg. This is particularly important for transport and storage, as it adds weight to the load space. At the same time, the gasket can withstand a static load (during storage) of up to 2000 kg and a dynamic load (during warehouse operations) of up to 1000 kg. In addition, the pads provide overall stabilisation of the layers: the packaged products do not slip on the stacked layers, and the optimum friction-slip ratio is achieved.
Nested pads are not solid sheets. This shape not only reduces weight, but also helps to remove excess moisture and does not impede airflow. Thus, freezing occurs simultaneously on all sides of the box, and the products are cooled evenly.
