Design description
Non-standard plastic pallets are available in a wide range of sizes, functional applications and design features. But above all, they are versatile packaging with several advantages. Plastic pallets are lighter than similar containers made of wood or metal. They are easy to keep clean - plastic is non-corrosive, easy to clean and does not chip. Pallets made of this plastic can be used for up to several dozen cycles, which makes them a more cost-effective packaging option than wood or cardboard. Plastic pallets can be used in international transport and do not require a certificate of phytosanitary treatment, as they are not exposed to chemicals, germs, bacteria, or rodent damage. Pallets do not lose their strength during steam sterilisation. They can be used for a variety of food and non-food products.
Non-standard pallets include the following sizes: 60x40 cm, 80x60 cm. The height of the pallets varies from 12 to 16 cm. The design of the pallets determines their static and dynamic load. For example, a lightweight pallet measuring 60x40x14 cm has a dynamic load of 250 kg and a static load of 800 kg.
In addition, non-standard pallets are available in different types of functional applications. There are, for example, so-called hygienic pallets that meet the requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries. They are available in lightweight, medium and heavy-duty types. The pallets are designed in different ways: with a smooth surface and perforated, on three runners and on legs, single and double-decked.
The standard pallet colours are blue, grey and matt black. Non-brightly colours are good, as they do not distract from pallet handling operations.
