Purpose
It is designed for efficient pallet cargo handling in confined spaces. To accomplish loading and unloading works in confined spaces, either mechanical analogues or the purchase of special equipment is necessary for production facilities. However, the use of mechanical pallet jacks means an additional strain on warehouse staff. For this reason, forklifts with a narrow cabin are ideal for such tasks. Description
These forklifts are generally equipped with an electric motor, but there are also gas-powered models. This category of forklift is ideal for use in warehouses with Drive-in racks. This storage system saves space (up to 30%) and is often used in pharmaceutical production. An electric forklift is used in this case; this option avoids exposure of products to potentially harmful emissions.
The width of the narrowed cab with bends can be from 800-900 mm. This allows you to use this category of forklift in warehouses with maximum storage density and the presence of drive-in racks. In this case, this model is ideal, as even the most compact stacker is likely to be unsuitable for such racks due to its size.
The forklifts with narrow cabs are highly manoeuvrable and can reach speeds of up to 20 km/h. A sufficient level of controllability is ensured by special tyres and steering mechanisms, allowing the forklift to turn smoothly on any surface. The operator's cab allows controlling all work processes.
