Mobile archive racking with electronic control

Description

In principle, the archival mobile racking is very similar to stationary shelf structures installed on mobile bases that move along rails. A pleasant bonus of mobile racks is that the sides of the rack are sheathed, allowing convenient support for folders or books.

The electronic control of the racks makes the use extremely simple and convenient. Unlike mobile racks with mechanical control, such systems significantly save time, because while an archive employee carries documents or goods to the work area, the racks can be rebuilt for a new task at this time.

Simply press the "left" or "right" button once and all racks automatically move in the specified direction until a new aisle is made. It takes 30-40 seconds to rearrange a rack with a working corridor width of 700-800 mm.

The racks at the ends of the unit are stationary and can be either one-sided (single) or two-sided (double in depth). All racks in the middle of the structure are mobile and double.

The minimal profile height of the guide rails makes it possible to use them in premises that have already been renovated, without the need for preparation, as is the case with warehouse racks. In most cases, customers simply install rails on the floor and step over them. However, it is also possible to install a so-called raised floor, which provides a smooth surface, reduces the likelihood of injuries and damage to equipment.
Archive mobile racks have perforation along the entire height at a pitch of 25 mm. Therefore, it is possible to adapt the height of the bin to the required folder or box as efficiently as possible.

Each section of the rack is equipped with a stopper and an anti-tipping device. Besides, certain sections in the row have diagonal ties that ensure maximum stiffness of the structure.

Due to the large range of rack sizes (section length, height and width), you can easily design a mobile archive rack for any premise and a wide variety of cargo. If the archives room has a complex shape of the ceiling or communications, in these places the racks may be of a different height, following the configuration of the room and making maximum use of the capacity.

Additional options allow for even more efficient use of the racks and customisation to suit your needs:

(1) A dividing grid in the middle of the double-sided rack will provide isolation of stored items on each shelf.
(2) Where restricted access to the rack contents is required, doors (hinged or pocket doors) with individual locks can be fitted to each section.
(3) In addition to fixed shelves, you can install sliding shelves for hanging filing cabinets.
(4) An interesting option for such racks is a decorative facade, on which an image can be applied at the request of the customer. Such a solution will allow mobile rack not only to be functionally useful but also to become an interior item of a modern office and delight the eyes of employees and visitors.

Although mobile systems cost 2 to 3 times more than classic shelf systems, the investment is quickly recouped through efficient use. Mobile racking is not just for documents, but also for any lightweight goods.
