Purpose
Containers for sand, salt and chemicals are used to store bulk and absorbent materials. This is an ideal solution for organisations and businesses with high requirements for the appearance of their facilities, such as shopping centres, office buildings, educational and medical institutions, petrol stations, car services and car dealerships, as well as municipal and utility services. These models are also used at large manufacturing, construction and logistics enterprises to equip production and firefighting sites. Design description
The sand and salt containers are made of rotomoulded polythene and have a strong body due to the many stiffening ribs. The surfaces of the box are glossy for easy washing and cleaning. Also, these models are resistant to aggressive chemicals, which makes the cleaning process more efficient.
The design provides holes in the bottom of the box for forklift forks, which greatly facilitates the process of moving containers, both empty and full. Unlike their metal or wooden counterparts, these boxes are much lighter, which speeds up the logistics process.
HDPE is highly resistant to solar radiation, so the colour of the containers does not change over the life of the container. This plastic is also resistant to a wide temperature range of -25°C to +40°C and mechanical damage.
The containers are equipped with a tight-fitting lid that prevents moisture from entering and damaging the absorbent materials. The shape of the lid is adapted to aggressive weather conditions, which prevents water from staying on the surface of the box and prevents the lid from freezing to the body. The hinge design allows the lid to be opened vertically. To avoid the possibility of theft of the contents of the container, the lid has holes for installing a lock, which is carried out at the request of the client. The entire range has quality certificates and complies with EU environmental standards.
