Purpose
Boxes for sand, salt and chemical bulk materials are designed for storage and, in some cases, transport. Sand and salt mixtures are often used to combat icing and improve road safety in winter. Such models are commonly used by city and municipal services, utility organisations responsible for road safety, as well as construction and agricultural companies. Containers for absorbent materials are most often placed in pedestrian areas, bus stops and car parks. Design description
Sand and salt containers are made using rotational moulding technology from virgin polythene. This material is becoming increasingly popular in various industries, as it allows the production of equipment models with high mechanical strength and resistance to aggressive environments.
This material is also resistant to photodegradation, so the colour of the containers does not change during their lifetime. The container surfaces are glossy, which simplifies the cleaning and washing process. The ergonomic design allows you to transport these models in stacks.
The containers are fitted with a tight-fitting lid to prevent moisture from entering the container and to prevent vandalism. The lid can optionally be equipped with a lock. The design of the hinges allows the lid to be opened vertically, which greatly simplifies the operation process.
Today, plastic containers for salt, sand and reagents have no analogues in terms of service life, due to the complete absence of material corrosion and loss of mechanical and aesthetic properties, which allows them to be used in conditions of high humidity and sudden temperature changes.
