Purpose
The UNIVERSAL range of hydraulic compactors is designed for compacting mixed, wet and hazardous waste into bags, containers or drums. The presses have a force of 1.5 to 3 tonnes and a compaction ratio of 10:1.
These are compact and efficient top-loading presses. They are the ideal solution for entertainment centres, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, medical centres, hairdressing salons, office centres and chemical industries.

Design description
There are two types of construction in this range: with square and cylindrical press chambers. The presses are supplied as standard with a single square chamber, but this design allows for the option of an additional press chamber. The open design of the device allows for easy maintenance and cleaning.
The main elements of the pressing system are a hydraulic cylinder, an electric motor, an oil station and control and measuring devices that drive the pressing platform. For hazardous waste, there is an electric, and for explosives, pneumatic versions of pressing in metal canisters.
An easy-to-use special forklift for handling heavy bags/compressed bales is available as an option. The balers have a force of 1.5 to 3 tonnes and a compaction ratio of 10:1.
A special stand ensures safe movement of the press. The most stringent safety standards are met thanks to the internal interlocking of the switches. Very few electrical components are included in the device. Easy to load from the top when the press is pushed back. To prevent inappropriate use of the press, the front panel door of the loading window is locked while the machine is in operation.
