Purpose
Twin Scissor Tables are designed for handling long and cumbersome loads that cannot be physically moved using a classic lift. They have a single platform with a length of 2.75 to 6.05 meters. This allows using them for lifting vehicles (e.g. cars), long products and other loads of similar dimensions. They are used in manufacturing industries, production facilities, repair shops, logistics, and transport terminals.

Description
The main difference of this category of lifting devices is their elongated platform. This allows using twin scissor tables in the wood processing industry for lifting logs, sawn timber, and other products. They can also be used to vertically move vehicles, even light lorries (such as the Gazelle). This makes them suitable for use in the sea and river docks and other transport infrastructures.
To increase the stability of the lift, the structure is reinforced with an additional scissor mechanism. Besides, it increases its load capacity, which is up to 7 tonnes (depending on the model). On the other hand, it increases power consumption to 4.6 kW, which is not critical. An automatic control unit ensures synchronicity of the operation of paired mechanisms.
A multi-stage protection system ensures safe operation and servicing of the lift. It has, for example, a mechanism to prevent uncontrolled lowering of the platform (in particular, when hydraulic hoses break). In addition, the lift cylinders are fitted with special dampers, which prevent them from being damaged during scissors folding.
The electrical unit consists of a motor and an electronic control panel. The motor is protected against external influences under the IP65 standard. Dust and moisture protection of the electronic unit and controls correspond to IP55. This prevents the failure of the automatics. In addition, there is an emergency stop button on the control panel.
Due to the dimensions and weight of the lift table, delivery and installation are only possible using heavy machinery such as truck cranes. When planning the layout of the equipment, you should take into consideration the difficulty of moving it further, even within a single building.
