Design description
Waste sorting containers are used in all EU cities. This is one of the best ways to encourage people to sort their waste and to implement the circular economy principle. In Kyiv alone, the installation of bell-type containers has resulted in 3,000 m3 less plastic, glass and paper going to landfills every month.
The waste sorting bins are made of LDPE material. This is one of the best polyethylenes that can be moulded and extruded. Thanks to this, it can be moulded into a shape of any thickness. This type of plastic has antiseptic properties, is neutral to other materials, does not corrode, and has high recyclability. Containers made of this material are easy to clean and keep clean.
The material of the waste collection containers can withstand sudden temperature changes and does not lose colour under the influence of ultraviolet rays. The high-quality coating allows the containers to maintain a presentable appearance even under conditions of prolonged use.
Thanks to these physical and chemical properties, bell-type bins are used for various types of household waste, as the waste does not react with the container's plastic.
For the convenience of placing various household waste, the following slot systems are provided: a round slot for bottles, a longitudinal slot for paper and packaging, and a large slot for advanced sorting.
Overall dimensions of the sorting bins: width – 1940 mm, height – 1880 mm, depth – 1310 mm, useful volume – 2.75 m3, weight without waste – 130 kg. Optimal for storing garbage with a maximum weight of 1200 kg.
Different types of grippers are available: single hook, double hook and Kinshofer system. All this makes it easy to carry out maintenance operations with municipal vehicles.
Separate waste bins are available in several colour shades: grey, green and brown. It is also possible to apply printing (logos, advertising, etc.).
