Design description
Semi-underground containers consist of an outer casing (the material is selected to the customer's order and customisation is possible), an inner container (metal or rotational moulding plastic), a lid, slots for different types of solid waste, and fasteners.
The outer casing (above and below ground) is made of waterproof concrete with a capacity of 4 and 5 cubic metres. The cylindrical design of the building blends in perfectly with the landscape. The above-ground part of the casing is 839 mm long and can be fitted with a decorative plastic cover with a design.
The inner container can be made on request:
- 3 mm thick steel sheet with a hot-dip galvanised coating that protects it from corrosion and makes it fireproof and resistant to mechanical damage;
- made of rotomoulded recyclable plastic. Rotomoulding technology is used to produce hollow products of various configurations and sizes with wall thicknesses of up to 20 mm and volumes of up to 25 cubic metres. This material is resistant to solar radiation, chemicals, temperature changes and mechanical damage.
The inner container has an emptying opening at the bottom. The emptying process takes 2-3 minutes and requires only one employee. To do this, the container is removed from the outer container with a manipulator using special metal fasteners. These fasteners are located at the top of the inner container and come in three different designs to choose from: single hook, double hook and Kinschover system. The inner containers are equipped with a fullness sensor, which optimises the waste collection process and minimises transport costs.
The bin is also fitted with a hermetically sealed dome-shaped lid to prevent the spread of unpleasant odours. The design of the lid is designed to prevent water from collecting on its surface and getting inside the bin body. Two optional materials for the cap are available: rotomoulded plastic and steel.
The manufacturer has developed a large number of slots that can be inserted into the lid for non-contact collection and sorting of various types of solid waste: glass, paper, small packaging, mixed municipal solid waste. The slots are presented in several colours (yellow, green, blue, grey) to ensure visual recognition of the type of solid waste.
The height of the ground part of the container is 1258 mm, which makes it possible to use the containers even by children and people with disabilities. The ergonomic and simple design is intended not only for consumers, but also for service personnel. This system can be assembled/disassembled by 2 specialists in 15 minutes.
