Purpose
The Modula One Pick Lift System is used for space saving storage of containers with small parts, spares and accessories. This model differs from other types of similar equipment by a greater degree of automation. A built-in Cartesian robot manipulator allows the users to take a container or a box with goods.

Description
The Modula One Pick lift system is a kind of cabinet with a height of 2.6 m. There are shelf supports inside the cabinet, on which cargos will be placed subsequently, and a lifting mechanism. The lower part also has a receive/transfer window with an integrated robot that can pick up the required container or crate from the shelf delivered by the hoister. This automates the picking process as much as possible, as well as many other routine tasks in the warehouse or production.
The difference from other systems working according to this principle and having a vertical form factor is that there is a robot, which picks exactly the right container from the shelf. This reduces picking errors to almost zero. In order to get the right product, it is enough to select it using a special management console. It is equipped with a touch screen, which makes it extremely easy to use.
The model has the same advantages over standard shelves and racks as the other lift systems of the Modula range. First, we are talking about saving space and staff safety. Standard shelves are rarely higher than 1.7-1.8 metres: this is because staff would otherwise have to use ladders, furniture or structural ledges to access the contents. This is uncomfortable and unsafe.
By limiting the height of the racks, a much larger area will inevitably need to be used to accommodate all the necessary cargo. The Modula One Pick vertical design avoids cluttering of space without reducing capacity.
