Purpose
Cantilever racks are indispensable equipment for storing long cargo. They allow not only increase the capacity of the warehouse but also provide convenient access to the goods. With a high turnover of the warehouse and a considerable number of items, cantilever racks will significantly increase the storage efficiency of long items.

Description
Cantilever racks stand apart in the model range of modern racking systems, as they are quite different from their counterparts. Cargo is placed on supports (cantilevers) attached to massive I-beam struts.
Since the cantilevers are attached only on one side, the front part of the structure is completely free to accommodate cargo, the length of which is limited only by the possibility of lifting equipment.
By adjusting the number of struts and profile cross-section, you can obtain the required load-bearing capacity of the structure (up to 2 500 kg per cantilever). The distance between the struts will also depend on cargo nature because more supports are needed to safely store flexible products.
The length of the cantilever can be made for a specific cargo in the range of 600 - 2 500 mm. For non-packaged cargo that may roll off the storage tier, welded stoppers can be provided of the required height.
Availability of perforation at a pitch of 100 mm allows you to adjust the tiers over time for new tasks.
The use of cantilever racks significantly increases the handling speed of long goods, and specialised narrow-aisle equipment, which transports oversized packs with the long side parallel to the racks, allows you to achieve maximum storage capacity.
In many cases, cantilever racks are installed outdoors and this is quite justified when the territory is securely guarded. On the one hand, bulky items are easier to handle in outdoor areas, but on the other hand, it is often the case that the area outside the warehouse is underutilised. If there is a group of goods that can be placed outside, why not save expensive warehouse space?
Canopies and barriers are used to protect equipment and goods from the effects of precipitation. You should select the reliability and tightness of such protection based on the requirements of the goods; some products can be stored outside without any damage.
To maximise racks protection from the weather, you can install a hot-dip galvanised structure. Of course, this is more expensive than polymer powder coating but ensures maximum corrosion protection.
